The deal is expected to close later this year. This, coupled with Nokia&#8217;s recent <a href=\"http:\/\/volkersthoughts.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/nokia-opens-doors-if-you-read-finnish.html\">announcements concerning Ovi<\/a>, shows the Finnish giant&#8217;s push into other parts of the mobile content value chain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_krrmJx627x4\/Ru5R2hQE_XI\/AAAAAAAABO4\/hMh7gkrN5Dk\/s1600-h\/enpocket-logo.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;cursor:pointer;margin:0 0 10px 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_krrmJx627x4\/Ru5R2hQE_XI\/AAAAAAAABO4\/hMh7gkrN5Dk\/s320\/enpocket-logo.gif\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Nokia&#8217;s CTO Tero Ojanper\u00e4 highlighted just that: \u201cNokia has already announced its intention to be a leading company in consumer Internet services and we believe that mobile advertising will be an important element in monetizing those services for our customers and partners. [&#8230;] This acquisition is a [&#8230;] move to bring the reach and depth of Nokia to organize the market across the world, and make it easier for an ecosystem to develop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nothing much to add, I guess.
