{"id":2182,"date":"2016-02-26T13:38:13","date_gmt":"2016-02-26T12:38:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vhirsch.com\/blog\/?p=2182"},"modified":"2016-02-26T13:38:13","modified_gmt":"2016-02-26T12:38:13","slug":"education-the-trillion-dollar-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vhirsch.com\/blog\/2016\/02\/26\/education-the-trillion-dollar-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Education &#8211; the Trillion Dollar Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past week, I had the great honour and pleasure to give a keynote at the <a href=\"http:\/\/mobileworldcongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mobile Word Congress<\/a>&#8216; hotter sibling that is <a href=\"http:\/\/4yfn.com\" target=\"_blank\">4YFN<\/a>,\u00a0sizing up the opportunity of the education market, which is something I have been looking at a lot in the course of my work with <a href=\"http:\/\/emerge.education\" target=\"_blank\">Emerge Education<\/a>, Europe&#8217;s leading EdTech accelerator,\u00a0over the past few years.<\/p>\n<p>In it, I have been outlining the immense size of the market at hand as well as the incredible impact startups and investments in this\u00a0sector can have on the world. I also offered some thoughts on how to work around some of the obstacles that such a traditionally &#8220;hard&#8221; sector poses.<\/p>\n<p>The video of the talk will follow shortly.
